Kia ora e te whanau
During these past 6 months, our Southern Practice Leader (Karena) and Southern Public Health Promoter (Sarah), have been working on how to best use the COVID era development in the online space to share knowledge of gambling harm, and hopefully, share this knowledge with people who may not access it in other places. The result was ‘Shining the Light on Gambling Harm’, a weekly, 45 minute hui on gambling harm. Each week is different and follows the interest, background and situation of the attendees. You can pre-register, or just turn up on the day. You can ask questions, request topics, or mute yourself with no camera. You can be from any background – from working with people who may experience gambling harm, to students, to being interested in the issues that face our country, to someone who is concerned about their own or someone else’s gambling and wanting to know more.
Please see the description below and share this email, and links with your networks.
